The World Created for Life

As he escaped The Ruin at the dawn of creation, The Founder created the different worlds with each of his late family members in mind. As such, each world has qualities relating to the names and powers of his fellow Generators. The Founder’s Forest is his final love letter to the only woman he ever loved- The Bearer. Mother of all life and birth- The Bearer encompassed the idea of prosperity and virility; all of this being taken into account when The Founder created the world.

The result? A world completely covered in foliage. Forests, grottos, lakes, etc.

Life thrived in every form, the fauna, the plants- it’s safe to say that the world itself was alive. It was because of this that The Leona Family established their home within, around, and atop the largest tree in the world- dubbed: Isla Leona. But alas, a Realm as dense and important as The Forest is hard to govern, so four regions were staked out and placed in the care of four vassal families of the Leonas, the heads of each of these families being known as the Cardinal Lord.

With the success of governing the Realm with the help of the Cardinal Lords, The Forest became a beacon the prosperity- a utopia much like Akona. But because of this, unlike Akona- The Forest is the sole Realm that is impossible to reach if you are not welcome. The Matriarch of the Leona Family holds absolute power over who comes and goes from the Realm, making it both impossible to siege without the powers of Runes, and a safe haven for the wounded.

A safe haven it becomes too. Following the fall of The Heavens at the hands of The Regalia Clan, The Forest serves as the home base of the Royals in their war against Fear.
